I can design and make custom orders and commissions. This includes ceramic pet sculptures, glass jewellery with a choice of colours of glass and silver shapes, enamel badges of birds, glass and ceramic tealight holders, or something I don't typically sell.

It takes at least a month for a custom item to be produced. This includes time designing and making a piece, firing it, and admin work, all around working full-time in another job.
In order to get the cost of each firing down I will try and make other items and include them in the same firing so that firing costs can be divided between the number of items.
To give an idea of expense involved, firing costs at time if writing this are approximately £40 per firing.
Ceramic pieces require 1 firing to be bisque fired, and another further firing for an item to be glazed - glazing can not only make items glossy but also waterproofs them so a birdbath will require 2 firings.
Glass pieces may also require multiple firings, often 1 firing will be used to layer colours of detail, and a further firing would be required to change the shape from glass to a bowl or stand etc.
